"Well, I'm not really the angry type. I dunno. I just guess that I'm a lover, not a fighter. I mean, what's the point in arguing over things so small that they shouldn't even be noticed? I'm probably not making any sense, huh?"

Rory's very laid-back and easygoing. She's sweet to a fault and dislikes conflict. She's also ridiculously helpful, often going out of her way to lend a hand (or paw?) to anyone who needs it. Rory is also very friendly and accomodating to anyone and everyone that she meets. She won't hesitate to get a conversation going and make new friends. She's full of laughter and smiles and cannot stand to see anyone upset. She's a bit of a cheerful idiot, though she can be serious when she sees fit.
Rory is very oblivious in terms of romance; often she won't notice that someone has feelings for her until they spell it out for her, and even then she might have some trouble with it. It's even worse with her own feelings; she'll often brush them off as simply platonic or protective.
She had never been educated, spending all of her time socializing or trying to improve her hunting and combat skills, though she didn't get very far in the last two. Due to this she is much more reckless and spontaneous than she should be, and almost never thinks before making a big decision. Rory's more empathetic and people-smart than book-smart.
Rory was born to a stray cat and her father, Aaron. He was, at the time, a housecat but left with the intention of being a real father to his kits, and being able to teach them how to survive. Under unknown circumstances Rory's mother had to leave when her kits were still very young. Aaron had expected to have at least a bit of the promised contact with his mate, but she had disappeared without a trace.
Rory and her siblings had grown up wandering with their father, who always made sure that they were safe and well cared for. However, they aged without knowing a thing about their mother; Aaron seemed to go temporarily deaf every time she was mentioned, and they had learned to not mention her anymore.
Years passed, every day fairly alike, though Rory never grew bored of it. If anything she found it interesting- being somewhere new every day, never knowing where she would go next. She was happy, for the most part.
Then came a massive storm, one that none of her immediate family had predicted. It came out of nowhere, and was so fierce that Rory lost the rest of her siblings and her father. When the storm subsided she found her siblings Arya and Felix taking shelter in a cave. They went looking for the rest of their family only to find that their sister Jen and their father had died. The rest of their siblings- Isaac, Xander, and Abbey- had disappeared. However, they found no bodies. They hoped for the best, that they were together and surviving, before deciding to find a burial spot for Jen and Aaron.
A while afterwards, the three found the city that they had been born in. Finally deciding to settle down- at least for a little while- Arya, Felix and Rory each found places in the city to live in. Rory chose to wander about, and Felix and Arya chose to become housecats. They often met to catch up with each other, though they never had found out what happened to their other three siblings. They suspected that they had found another place to live or were doing what they had done their whole lives- wander.
